Desalination Project The Plant consists of nine single pass Reverse Osmosis modules. The production per unit reaches 25,100 m3/day of drinking water. Eight modules are in production while the ninth is on «Standby».
The membrane elements of each module are supplied by a high pressure pump, a booster pump and a set of 32 energy recovery exchangers.
Total production of 200,000 m3/day, which represents 25% contribution of the daily consumption in drinking water of the capital Algiers.
