Hamma Water Desalination

The project development phase was initiated in 2004. The financial consultant was Citigroup.
Following numerous meetings between Ionics, AEC and Citigroup, OPIC was selected to finance the project.

The project development was based on the following data:
1- Production: 200,000 m3/day of drinking water.
2- Configuration: 9 modules of 25100 m3/day unit production, 8 in production and 1 in «standby».
3- Investment amount: 257 million US Dollars.
